When I have the mood, I get my Tecsun PL-600 radio and headphones and search in the shortwave bands. There is some kind of mystery feel to shortwave listening. Sometimes, I catch a Number Stations. And sometimes, I catch hams having some conversations. Most of the times, I hear strange stations in SSB that are transmitted in Morse Code.
I love radios. I want to get a good antenna for my radio. But, I am afraid my parents will not allow me to fix one on any wall outside the house!
Go to YouTube and write “strange radio station”. Do similar searches and be hooked all night long!
