What is Wrong?

November 19, 2010

Why is there so much hatred in this world?

So, I commented on a video on YouTube about a Pakistani pilgrim who had the chance to perform Hajj this year. I was so happy for him and for all the pilgrims and prayed to Allah to offer us the chance to visit Makkah in this life. One person replied to my comment with what it meant:

May Allah tell him to tell his neighbors to stop bombing themselves, amen.

What do you think? Has not his comment blew it up? Could not this comment get you depressed? It did to me. If he was trying to say something good, he could not have said it in that way. It is mocking me and the pilgrim, is not it?

And I am still wondering why they hate us? Not all Muslims are Al-Qaeda. I wish Taliban and Al-Qaeda be wiped out. They are harming Islam and Muslims all over the world. We are struggling to cure the wounds that they have inflicted by their stupid rampages.

May Allah help us in eradicating the minds of destruction and hate, amen.

Regarding 9/11 & Eid Al-Fitr Coincidence

August 31, 2010

Ibnat al-Hidayah has cleared everything up regarding Eid Al-Fitr which is a festival celebrated to break the 30-day fast during Ramadan, and she also clarified the misconceptions held by some in that we build Masjids only on holy sites.

Of course, I am not excited that Eid Al-Fitr coincides with the 9/11 anniversary this year. And, I really do see the importance of expanding one’s knowledge regarding others’ faith at such a time.

I only have one thing to say regarding this matter:

Al-Qaeda, damn on you.

Flooded Pakistan

August 15, 2010

The recent floods in Pakistan have come in a difficult time for its people. They have to struggle against the evildoers of Al-Qaeda, and Ramadan this time is different for most of them:

Let us pray for them and support them in every possible way.

An Opinion on American Islamophobia

July 29, 2010

America, the nation that celebrates freedom on July 4th, is becoming more and more intolerant of religious freedom granted to Muslims year after year. After 9/11 attacks, Muslim Americans have become the target of verbal hate which is considered protected by freedom of speech. Muslims in America are questioned, spied on, and face discrimination at work, in the alleys, malls and in airports. Muslims worldwide have been accused of terrorism and many of them have undergone investigations simply because they are Muslims or Arabs. And that is all attributed to a group of extremist terrorists living in the Middle Ages and who are blinded by hatred and are infested with religious ignorance.

Over a billion of Muslims live today, most of whom lead normal lives. Just like Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and people of other faiths, Muslims wake up in the morning, go to work, pray, and sit down with their families. Opening the morning newspaper to read an article about a disgusting racist marches to be organized in America and a sick determination to burn copies of the Quran in mass protests, it is just plain stupid,  inconsiderate, and sad. I cannot express how I felt this morning after reading about the dangerous events and the shocking statements expressed by the Tea Party against building a Masjid near the site of the World Trade Center.
